If you've never been to a chiropractor before, it’s natural to have questions and perhaps a little anxiety about what your first visit will entail. Chiropractic care offers a non-invasive, drug-free approach to treating various conditions, particularly those involving the spine, joints, and muscles.

Before arriving at Dr. Caren’s Complete Chiropractic in Perkasie PA you will receive intake paperwork via email, a text reminder, and email of your upcoming appointment. Please have all the paperwork filled out before your appointment to make sure you are seen on a timely basis by Dr. Caren and her team.
On the first visit Dr. Caren will review your initial paperwork and review your health history with you. You will discuss your motivation for your visit including any recent falls, traumas, and pain and any pertinent health information to help facilitate your chiropractic care and allow you to have a safe and informative first visit. You will then be examined by the doctor, and it will be determined if you are a candidate for care in our office. If you have any problems that Dr. Caren does not feel comfortable treating she will refer you to the appropriate doctor or care facility.
Dr. Caren does not have an x ray machine on site. She will utilize an examination, consultation, and posture analysis to determine the course of care. If she needs to see x rays she will send you out for them. Feel free to bring along any recent diagnostic reports or imagining that you may have had.
The first treatment will usually consist of electric stimulation with either heat or ice, a full spine adjustment, extremities adjustments if needed and any necessary traction. You will then be scheduled for a follow-up Report of Findings visit. It is in this visit that Dr. Caren will review her findings and recommend a care plan for your optimal results.
The next treatment will be rendered only after the doctor has thoroughly reviewed your treatment plan and explained the course of care for best results. You will be giving any insurance reimbursement information at this visit and a clear understanding of any out-of-pocket patient costs. After agreeing to care, your chiropractic journey will begin.

The new patient special is $20 and it includes a full consultation, examination, and Report of Findings. If you are treated that day you will be charged an additional $50 and some insurance may be applied to this visit if applicable. No charges are ever incurred before discussing with the doctor and office staff.
